This special sea salt is rich in minerals, natural and unrefined, and most importantly, harvested by hand the traditional way.
The salt originates from the West Coast (South Africa) and is extracted from the unique Aquifer, where the sea water filters through beds of sand and shell, providing additional calcium. The salt is packed straight from the pans with their minerals intact.

“Funky Ouma” is the result of a very funky ouma that’s been playing around with food and spices all her life, but only decided at 67 to start her own brand together with her youngest daughter Johannita Eksteen.
Funky Ouma offers a variety of products filled with salt from Walvis Bay and the Himalayas mixed with quality naturally homegrown herbs e.g rosemary, oregano, and other natural ingredients such as onion flakes, sweet peppers, dried chilies, lemon zest, black and exotic green and red peppercorns, and coriander.
